Wholesale
ZEBRAZ.com does offer wholesale pricing to other
retail businesses and non-profit organizations. All
that is required to set up a wholesale account is a
faxed copy of your state’s retail or non-profit tax
certificate or other state issued documentation
proving your business’ tax status.
We do not print a wholesale catalog or price list. What we do is
offer a percentage off our retail prices depending on quantities
purchased. This percentage off will vary depending on the type
of product and the specific supplier. This is necessary due to the
fact that different items have different mark-ups. Even similar
types of items may have a different mark-up depending on the
particular supplier.
Our usual per item minimum is three. We may waive this
minimum if the item has a particularly high retail price (as in
the case of some of our 14k commitment bands). Certain
smaller items such as stickers have a minimum of twelve.
Below is a general guide for discounts by product types. Be
aware this is a general guide and the discounts may vary
depending upon the factors stated above.
Most items (clothing, certain videos, lubricants, novelties, house
wares, and some jewelry) will be as follows: 3 items = 35% off,
6 items = 45 % off.
Some jewelry will have discounts as high as 60% off for a
purchase of 12.
Due to music industry set retail pricing most audio cd’s will be:
3 items = 20% off, 6 items =30 % off. Some music titles we have
an overstock on and can offer a larger discount.
Most books once again due to industry set pricing can only go
as high as 40% but we generally allow you to mix and match
titles rather than making you purchase three of one title.
Stickers are most dependent on type and supplier. Most 3.5” x
3.5” rainbow stickers are: 12 pieces = 65% off making them .70
cents each, 24 pieces = 70% off making them .60 cents each,
50 pieces = 75% off making them .50 cents each. Static window
stickers will be: 12 pieces = 45% off, 24 pieces = 50% off, 50
pieces = 55% off. Specialty stickers such as the glitter ovals and
strip stickers will be: 12 pieces = 35% off, 24 pieces = 40% off,
and 50 pieces = 45% off.
Most customers give us a list of items they are interested in. We
figure out and inform them of the specific discounts. They make
their final decision and place the order. We find this procedure
to work well and it doesn’t take us long to get the requested
discounts back to you.
We also drop ship items for some companies. This works well
for fledgling internet businesses and smaller companies that
may not have the capital to purchase in-house inventories on
a large number of products. There is no per item minimum
required for drop shipped orders; however, the discount is a
flat 25% per item. This may be available for possible increase
after a one year period if sales justify.
